Default OGD is adopting a puffin! Find out how you can help!

Our OGD community is collecting Puffins boxtops & UPCs to adopt a puffin. Our goal is to collect 250 boxtops/UPCs so that we can adopt and name our own puffin, and have our collective efforts featured on the Barbara's Bakery website. This is a wonderful online community opportunity to give back while enjoying some delicious organic cereals. I hope that you'll all join us.

Barbara's Bakery - Adopt-A-Puffin

...Adopt-A-Puffin

Barbara's has a direct stake in the natural world and a growing commitment to Puffins. Over the past seven years, Barbara's has regularly contributed to Audubon's Project Puffin conservation efforts, and now through our new program, everyone can contribute to the preservation of the puffins' Maine habitat and help fund ongoing research. In addition to our general support through Project Puffin, we've also adopted a total of 8 puffins. Three puffins were adopted because our customers sent in boxtops that were pooled. We now proudly present Babs, Berry, Chip, Cinnamon, Honey, Peanut, PJ, and Puffy in our new photo album with their backgrounds and information on their unique habits!

Your school, classroom, club or other organization can adopt and name its very own puffin. Just collect 250 box tops or UPC code flaps (found at the base of the box) from any Puffins cereal - Original, Cinnamon, Peanut Butter or Honey Rice and send them to Barbara's Bakery. Through Audubon's program, we will adopt one puffin for one year. We will also post your organization's name, home town -- even a photo if you send us one -- on our website. Individuals can also participate by sending in box tops. We'll pool them until we have enough to adopt a puffin.

Please send your box tops or UPC code flaps to:
  • Barbara's Bakery

  • Attn: Adopt-A-Puffin
    3900 Cypress Drive
    Petaluma, CA 94954
If you have questions about the Adopt-A-Puffin program, please write or send us an e-mail at: info@barbarasbakery.com
