Ok so I was looking in the garden section at Amazon and came across these seeds for Black Sea Man Tomato and they just look gross to me...They say heirloom tomatos have great flavor but to be honest if I saw that on my plate I don't think I could try it.

Although the black, green, and pink is an interesting color combo.

I've actually had these before and they're really good! The black zebra tomatoes are really tasty too but a lot of people think that they're not ripe because they have a mottled green and red pattern on the front. Also the uglyripe tomatoes are so delicious too. I love heirloom tomatoes and I always look forward to when they are in season.

You shouldn't be put off by the strange colorS. I've never tasted an heirloom variety that I didn't prefer over a non-heirloom variety.

They might be good tasting but man are they ugly! LOL

I am growing an heirloom variety this year as well as my favorite...roma tomatoes which just have less "slime" than most tomatoes. I just can't stand the slime on some of them. Grosses me out.

I thought I was the only one that didn't like the slimy stuff in tomatos.....nice to know I am not alone.
