WOW! Thanks for this! Coconut water is our equivalent to Pedialite. It is a great electrolyte replacer without all the junk in Pedialite. My kids love it and it is always in stock in our pantry for those times where the kids are sick and don't want to drink, but need to. The doctors are always amazed the my kids are not dehyradted when we go in when they are sick. You can even give it to a toddler (I have given it as young as nine months, but I would check as to when a child can have coconut and give no sooner than that age).

I didn't know that! Thanks for the info... I was just sick myself and although I was able to drink water, I did wonder what I might be able to take to keep from getting dehydrated if I needed to. Now I know!
