Amazon's Kindle - Electronic reading device (Saves Paper!)

I have had my eye on one of these for a while now but had forgotten about it until I saw it featured on Oprah. While it is pretty pricey at $359 dollars it really does appear to be pretty cool. The reviews are great and what I like best about it is that it saves so much paper.

You can get just about any book on the Kindle (with most book prices under $10) as well as major newspapers and even some magazines too. At a fraction of the retail price. You can also download blogs too.

Once you have bought your books they are yours forever, even if you accidentally delete them from your Kindle or (forbid) loose your Kindle. Your purchases are stores on Amazon and you can re-download them at any time.

You can also download music on the Kindle too for some background reading tunes.

The Kindle also offers word look up!

You do not need to hook the Kindle up to your computer or find a hotspot to upload new material you can be anywhere and have a new book in less than a minute.

A little birdy told me that Someone is getting one of these for Christmas

But I honestly think that this would make a great gift for anyone that is an avid reader. I had the new ipod on my Christmas list and am happy to be getting this instead since it holds books AND music! Ipod Schmipod I don't need an Ipod! LOL
