We are currently seeking mods for the following store forums:

Responsibilities of a Moderator vary by forum, but include the following duties:
1) Watching for spammers on the board and banning them via the infraction system when they appear.
2) Keeping their forums organized and clean by merging or moving posts and threads. Consolidating threads as necessary to make it easier to navigate, etc
3) Making sure that the deals are posted in their forum, if they are moderating a store forum.
4) Posting relevant information, FAQ’s for their store, tips, discussion about their topic, etc.
5) Taking care of reported posts as they are reported by our members.
6) Watching the threads and posts for unethical use of coupons or other violations of our Terms of Service. And issuing warnings or infractions as necessary.
7) Acting as a liaison between the members and the store or manufacturer. If a question is posed that they do not know the answer to, our moderators will attempt to contact the store or manufacturer to see if they can find out the answer.
8) And most importantly… they are here to help our members with questions, providing them the information they need.

Requirements for being considered for a moderator’s position
1) You must be a registered member for 2 months.*
2) You must be an active user with regular posts in the forum you wish to mod. Also recommended that you are an active shopper for the store you are modding with an interest in looking for and posting sales both advertised and unadvertised.
3) If you wish to moderate a forum that does not exist yet, you must be an active poster in other forums.
4) You must be willing to fill out a moderator agreement that will be sent to you.

*Since Organic Grocery Deals is a new site, we will waive this requirement for now as long as you have been an active member of Hot Coupon World for 2 months.

If there is a forum at Organic Grocery Deals that does not already have a moderator and you meet the requirements set forth for being a moderator please send a private message to SBP. Please keep in mind that although being a forum moderator is a volunteer position, it is not to be taken lightly - you should only apply if you are ready to make the commitment to give your forum the attention it needs.
