there are lots of tutorial videos, too! As a vegetarian, I find myself eating a lot of Indian food. Now I am going to try to make some! But not all the recipes are vegetarian... there really is something for everyone :smile5:

Thanks for posting this Der! We have a Southern Indian vegetarian restaurant near us that DH and I have been to now about 5 times and the food there is soooo good! I've never tried Indian food before this year because I didn't think I would like it and never had a good opportunity. I shouldn't have been so naive because it turns out I love the stuff! I made my first curry earlier this week. The videos are really awesome- I learn by doing so this really helps me figure out if things are looking like they should, when they should!

I LOVE Indian food! I don't venture out too much though. Part of it is the cost of the spices in my area, and part of it is that I haven't used some of the ingredients before.
The video is great!

doodh = milk
chana = chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
mattar = green peas
gobhi = cauliflower
naan/roti = two different kinds of bread
chai = tea (not the leaves, finished version)
