• According to the Center for Food Safety, research has shown that irradiation dramatically lowers the nutritional content of foods―in some cases by nearly 100%. For example, up to 80% of the vitamin A in eggs and up to 95% of the lutein in green beans is destroyed by the process.

I knew irradiated foods lose nutritional value, but I had no idea it could be that high! Thanks for the post!

I love reading that kind of stuff. Thanks derketchup-keep it coming. That is why after much research last year, we no longer have or use a microwave. Combine that with microwaving in a plastic container=supertoxic cancer causing duo.

It heats by radiation, & is the same as irradiating food. It also changes the electrical field (protons/neutrons) in & on the food, causing toxic chemical reaction byproducts similar to nitrates & nitrites in bacon which are cancer causing. The book author: K. Trudeau, 2007.
