HOT - Certified Organic Plant/Veggie Starts 50% off at Lowes

Went to Lowes Home Improvement today, and they had certified organic veggies starts for 50% off. (We also used Mark's military discount and got another 10% off that).

What we bought:

Strawberries
Roma tomatoes
Beef tomatoes
Butternut squash
Cantaloupe

Most of them were .99c each, and the bigger tomatoes were $2 each - they were probably 1 gallon size.

Got all the strawberries and tomatoes planted...waiting til we get the new raised beds done this weekend to plant the rest.

Great finds - I hope they do well for you. I would especially love to find the strawberries. The stores here don't offer anything organic like that. Organic seems to be a foreign word. The employees look at you like you have 3 heads if you ask.

Were they easy to spot? I have the hardest time finding anything @ Lowe's! I guess my brain doesn't work like theirs! I am always looking for things in a different spot than where they're located.

There were very easy to find, and they were all in brown cartons.
