Organic coffee on clearance at Sam's

I noticed 2.5lb. bags of Member's Mark organic whole bean coffee on clearance at Sam's for $9.81 (reg. $13.82). Not sure if the product is being discontinued, packaging is being redesigned or changed, etc. as the employees and management both say they don't know. My nearest store did a clearance like this about 5 years ago - when the product returned to store shelves many months later it had been changed from a 3lb. bag to a 2.5lb. bag but the price remained the same (and has continued to increase since that time).
