Some items that I noticed that have coupons to get the best deal:

I believe there are some coupons for $1.50 off 1 out there, so it would make it 3 for $5.50.

Stonyfield Organic or Soy Yogurt 10 for $6
Though I am unable to print these, I believe they are $.50/3, Big Y doubles, so that would be $1 off 3, which would bring you to 10 for $3 using three coupons.

I believe there are coupons out for $1.10 off 2 which would make this 2 for $3.90 or there are some for $.55 off one, which Big Y doubles to make $1.10 off one, using two coupons to complete a deal for 2 for $2.80

Florida Crystals Organic Sugar 32oz 2 for $5
Coupons out for $.35 off 1, doubled by Big Y for $.70 off one, using two coupons to get 2 for $3.60


Honorable mentions, but not the best deals unless you have some coupons:

33% off Good Cook Bamboo Cutting Board (not sure if this is a good deal because like Big Y frequently does (like with their Buy (-) Get (-) Free deals, it omits the original price, so who knows if it's worth it)

Big Y RARELY has organic produce on sale, so the only thing I can list is conventional: #6 in the Clean 15
Thin & Tender All Green Asparagus $1.48/lb (and I'm not sure if this is a good deal or not as I do not ever buy it)

They do have All Natural Angus Beef that does not use hormones or antibodies, but I personally don't see many deals in that area for how good I found the meat. I'd rather spend the money they are charging to get the same amount of grass-fed beef. That of course is just my opinion. I have never been impressed with this stores produce or meats, so I don't buy them, so I cannot give much info on it.

I don't know what the BEST deal on asparagus is, but it's so good in season right now, that $1.50 sounds like a great price! Fresh, steamed asparagus makes a great side to any meal. :)

That asparagus is a great deal right now! It usually runs $2.99-$3.99/lb regularly priced in my area.

I was checking out the ad and also saw they have cabbage for only 17 cents/lb. That's another fantastic buy, and cabbage is a member of the "clean 15" so it's safe to buy the traditional stuff.

Have you ever taken your kitchen knives there to be sharpened? It says that they offer free knife sharpening. It usually costs me $5 per blade so that's another really great offer!

Hannaford used to offer that service a long time ago. I don't know if they do anymore...I should check it out.

$1.50/# is a great price for asparagus. And $.17/# on cabbage is awesome. The cheapest around here is $.25/#. I know it's not a big difference, but it's still a few more pennies in my pocket!

Looks good, RSR! I don't eat asparagus-makes the pee stink and all so I just avoid it. But it seems like a good deal
