HELLO Sunbutter

OMG I signed up for a sample of this stuff....and it is soooooo good! I never thought of trying sunflower seed butter!! I LOVE peanut butter, ate it daily but knew it was making me feel yukky. I ran out with my $.75 off Q immediately and bought a jar at Hannaford. Its expensive, but lasts much longer than peanut butter as you don't need as much.

My 2 year old loves it too!!

Neat! We recently tried cashew butter. It is soooo good. I don't like PB (except Adam's organic) but I'm loving the cashew butter. I can't wait to try some other nut butters too!

I've never tried it, but my mom is allergic to peanuts, so this might be a great alternative for her!

I've not tried it either. DH has been eyeing the various butters at the organic store. I told him we have to eat the pb we have first. lol

My kid's gave it a thumbs down, sadly. I did get the sample so they can try it again. They're used to soynut butter, sadly, but I'd love to get them onto something else. I'd LOVE to try other nut-butters, but they're usually risks for peanut contamination.

Anyone know what a good price on a jar of Sunbutter is? DDad loves this stuff but I know it's pretty pricey ($5.99/jar at Whole Foods when I last checked).

Thanks!

FYI Re: Sunbutter

According to the Coupon_Database there is a $0.75/1 coupon for Sunbutter in this month's, March 2010, issue of KIWI magazine.

I actually found Sunbutter at Wal-Mart for 3.99/jar. I don't typically go there often, but I found that the closest one (is actually in Nebraska, I live in Missouri) has an AWESOME organic produce section and no sales tax.

Thanks for the report! I don't really have one nearby but there are some closer to my family in the suburbs. I'll have to check out their organics!
