Default Been to Costco lately?

Every time I go into Costco there are more and more organic products. Today we got some organic beef for much less than I can get it at our regular supermarkets. I also noticed that they started carrying the Fruitabu fruit leather, a brand of organic coffee, Nature's Path toaster pastries, and more. I plan on taking a trip through soon to write down some brands and prices to add to the list.

Have you had any great Costco finds lately?

Ditto to LWW. BJ's is the closest warehouse store and that's an hour away. I do go to get frozen blueberries and organic olive oil though when I'm in the area.

It's not new but we get our organic soymilk there for a tiny bit over $1 each box (they come in a case), which is about the same as a really good sale at the regular markets for us.

They are doing major construction to ours so I haven't been there in about a month due to the dust and parking issues. I need to plan a trip there this week sometime because I really like their juices. On the flipside, their organix spring mix has been lacking lately in quality and so I think I will be skipping getting another clam container this time around.

No kidding about the spring mix! Ours lately looks part of it frozen and then thawed out. I've passed on it the last few trips also and picked up organic romaine hearts from Trader Joe's across the street. I thought it was just me but maybe I should send an email to Costco and find out what's up!

Us too - brown and slimy within a day or two and not the freshest looking stuff even on the day we bought it.

We also have trouble with their cut fresh fruit (the nonorganic) going bad really quickly.

I thought ours just had trouble with their turnover and stuff was getting stale or something.

Was the salad Earthbound Farms brand? I bought some at Meijer last week and it went gross before we even opened the package. I was *so* mad!

It was Earthbound Farms...I wonder if they have a problem with their storage/shipping area getting too cold?

It's a shame because I love buying the big clamshells of the organic spring mix. It costs the same at Costco for the giant container as it does for the small container at the grocery stores in my area.

Same here on the slimy stuff, especially the purple leaf. Our spring mix is Babe Farms and it looks like others are passing it up too because there was still a lot there yesterday when I went. Of the last 3 that I bought, I returned one for a full refund because it literally turned within 2 days of buying it. The other 2 took a little longer to turn, but still not long enough in my book. I am sorely disappointed and Costco knows it via my last refund.
