that last month was the last for the Walgreens Easy Saver Rebate program? I didn't take advantage of it every month, but when I did I got some great deals. My Burt's Bees bag should be here in a couple weeks that I earned from last month...my last ESR freebie. Too bad!

I am too.

I didn't do a ton every month but really had just started getting into it. BUT...at least I am getting my Burt's Bee's bag too. I actually think I like the ESR program better than the RR's. I would have the rebate put on the gift card. To me, that was easier to use than to trying to figure out what RR to use on what product and when. ::Sigh:: Will miss it...

I used to shop at Walgreens when I lived in Albuquerque, it was pretty much the only drugstore in the area back then. I haven't been there much in the past few years since moving because it's not in an area I shop at on a regular basis, but they did seem to have some great deals. I'm sure a lot of people will be looking for bigger and better deals at other drugstores now.

Add me to your list of being bummed. I went to Walgreen's on Saturday to look for the clearanced Weleda (I forgot my coupons and now I have to go back) and to pick up the ESR book and all I found was the empty spot where they used to be with white cards stating that the rebates had been discontinued. So sad! When my gift card gets reloaded again with my rebates, that will be it for me unless they have killer must-have RR deals. *sigh*

I never really did the ESR--only once. I think it is a lot easier than the RR though. All of Walgreen's confuses me and frustrates me. They do have a few good deals though, but I won't be missing them via ESR.
