Earth Fare to Open Augusta, GA Location

Augusta gets its first full service all natural and organic food store just in time for the holiday season! Earth Fare Market and Café will open its Augusta location on Fury’s Ferry Road November 14. A benefit party the day prior to opening will give customers a sneak peak at the 35,000 square foot store and all its offerings.
The Market and Café boasts the largest selection of natural, organic and gourmet foods including: farm fresh fruits and vegetables, a wine shop with eclectic small vineyard selections, a gourmet cheese shop with over 250 varieties of European and American Artisan cheeses, a full service meat and seafood department, on-site bakery and deli with ready-to-go meal options, a fully stocked grocery department, and a health and body care department featuring the highest quality supplements and personal care items.
“We are grateful for the warm welcome from the community and can’t wait to offer the Augusta area the best in natural and organic food,” says Heather Parker, community coordinator for the new location. “Come November, Augusta will have a one-stop alternative to traditional supermarkets, gourmet food stores, and specialty shops.”
On Tuesday, November 13, from 6-8 p.m., Earth Fare will host a benefit party for the Augusta Arts Council. The evening will kick off at 6 p.m. with a ribbon cutting by the Augusta City and Columbia County Chamber of Commerce. Guests will enjoy a variety of decadent dishes such as petite crab cakes with roasted garlic aioli, pulled-pork sandwiches, cocoa espresso tri-tip steak, local marinated heirloom tomato salad, brie layered with local chutney, and a variety of wine and beer. Admission is $10 and all proceeds will go directly to the Arts Council whose mission is to advance the arts and thus enrich the quality of life in Augusta and the Central Savannah River area.
The Grand Opening of the Augusta store is Wednesday, November 14. “It's an excellent opportunity for customers to learn about natural and organics, sample a variety of wonderful items, and participate in fun contests and giveaways,” says Parker.
