Mmmm! fruits! at Earthfare

My inlaw who took me out for groceries tonight needed to stop at Earthfare and I got some yummy bananas! full price at 69c a pound, not an awful deal for organic.

But they had these pre packaged up little things for only 99c. I got a thing of oranges, but they also had one with potatoes, pears, a mix of oranges and apples, and some others. I was going to get the potatoes, but they didn't look too well. I didn't see how much it weighed or anything, but came in like a meat container, with the plastic around it, so I figure about a pound of them or so.

That is cool! I'd be all over that- seriously at least 50% of our grocery budget each week is spent on fresh fruits and vegetables. I'd probably pick up one of everything and then some!

yeah, it wasn't bad. the oranges I got still look pretty good. Would have picked up some of the apples, but there were quite a few of them in the package and I don't think we would have gotten through all of them. There were 10 oranges in my package, I counted, hehe.

I love, love the reduced fruit at Earthfare! LOL.... You really can find some good deals! I need to go there soon. Haven't been in a while. I think I'm in a shopping slump.
