I haven't been able to find a monthly flyer for some time, which really irks me.
But today I noticed one item on sale for a bit longer. If you have anything else to add to the list, I'd much appreciate it!

Food Should Taste Good (http://www.organicgrocerydeals.com/forums/shoppers-guide-brands/) Chips were on sale for $2.50 per bag. There's a tearpad coupon $.55/1 (DND) out there that could make them $1.40. Or there's also a recent insert coupon for $1/1, which would make them $1.50 per bag. I bought a few bags not too long ago but have yet to try them. Anyone have a review (http://www.organicgrocerydeals.com/forums/carrot-stick-reviews-recalls/)??

Weekly Sale Shaw's Wild Harvest 11/20/09 - 11/27/09

I am not too impressed with the sales this week at Shaw's, but there are a few items that I think everyone should be grabbing and putting in their carts!

If you need to see the ad, -----> :deals1: (http://shaws.shoplocal.com/shaws/default.aspx?action=nuep&adref=shaws) <------
You can also print a few Shaw's coupons -----> :orange1: (http://www.getinspired.shaws.com/coupons.asp) <------
 The best coupon this week is one for $1/1 5 lb. box of clementines.

Which brings me to the first item you should be placing oh so gently into your cart...1 big ole box of Clementines for $5.99 or *$4.99* after coupon. I compared the price to Walmart's 3 lb. bag ($4.99), and it's obvious who has the better deal. Note: these are conventional. Check the Dirty Dozen List (http://www.organicgrocerydeals.com/forums/buyers-guide-fresh-produce/24-produce-pesticides-dirty-dozen-clean-fifteen.html?highlight=dirty+dozen+clean) for the best bets on conventional produce.

The next items you need to grab are Wild Harvest Fresh Herbs for *$1.99* each. Unfortunately, the WH printable is no longer available. Maybe you're one of the lucky ones that is receiving the Wild Harvest mailer??? I'm not! :frown1: Sage, rosemary, cilantro, and more are all available. These would make your turkey day turkey oh so yummy!

Speaking of turkey, Wild Harvest Frozen Turkey is *$2.49 per lb*. This is much more expensive than the conventional turkeys you can find right now for $.40 per lb. Meat is one of those things that is just better to buy organic, if you can. If you live in Maine, you could use a $3/1 turkey winetag (http://www.organicgrocerydeals.com/forums/wine-tags/9433-3-1-turkey-nwpn-exp-12-31-09-a.html#post43957) to help bring the price down, and there's also a $12 mail-in rebate (http://www.organicgrocerydeals.com/forums/promotions-rebates/9434-mail-rebate-12-turkey-ham-roast-beef-nwpn-exp-1-31-2010-a.html#post43958) available for turkeys (and more).

* Let's say you buy a 10 lb. bird. That's ~$25 - $3 WT - $12 rebate = $10 or $1 per lb.

Now that's more like it! Still more expensive than what you can get for conventional, but that is so much better!!! It's like a dream...

Soy Dream Soy Milk & Rice Dream Rice Milk are both on sale for *$2.99* per 32 oz. container. There's a $.75/1 printable available through the coupon database (http://www.organicgrocerydeals.com/forums/coupon.php), if you haven't printed it recently. I can't imagine paying the shelf price for this!

Still need a few more Thanksgiving items, like stock? Well, Imagine Organic Broth is only *$3.49 *each (32 oz.). The chicken broth is also free-range for those of you who don't like your chickens all cooped up!:request3:

And lastly, Muir Glen products are all *20% off*. Same goes for Cascadian Farm products. There are some $1/1 and $1/2 coupons available, but even with this discount, I'm sure you could find a better deal elsewhere. A lot of the Muir Glen tomatoes have gone up to $1.99/14 oz. can, so $1.60 is much higher than a year ago when we could get these free after coupon.
