So funny...I was at a women's health and wellness seminar over the weekend and one of the speakers talked very briefly about the seeds from chia pets being beneficial and I kind of smiled picturing grass growing out of parts of my body that I will not mention

...but then I saw that you can get chia seeds from this company... interesting

I can picture people going out to buy chia pets and eating the seeds rather than planting them.

I'm not sure, perhaps a mini-weedwacker is in order, but if grass starts growing out of my pits, I don't think my crystal rock deodorant will do.

Y'all are too funny! We visited my FIL this summer and he and his wife are paying $20 for less than a pound of that stuff and they swear by it. I found it in bulk at my natural foodstore. I thought about sending them a 5# bag.

Lord knows with my PCOS I'm already a hairy beast. I think they'd put me in the zoo if I started sprouting more "hair". {joke}

May I ask what it is they take it for? What benefits do they feel they get from the seeds? Do they find it to be an overall superfood like a spirulina type thing?
