What is the BEST freebie and/or coupons you have gotten from contacting companies?

I have been contacting lots of companies lately, trying to save money with coupons. I also started to ask for free samples, whick works some of the time.

Anyways, what has been your best freebie from contacting companies?

Samples: Mine so far has been Mr Krispers - they sent me a big box of samples today!!! Plus some 50 cent coupons.

What has been the best set of coupons?

Coupons: Hansens All Natural Soda and Juice Pouches - they sent a whole booklet of BOGO coupons for the soda and $2 off the juice pouches.

Kiss My Face sent me a ton of single-use samples when I contacted them. I'm thinking that's the best I've received.

Hmmm...I haven't contacted any companies in QUITE awhile...but off the top of my head, the two I can think of are:

Newman's Own...they sent me a TON of coupons for FREE products!

And Pellenova makeup. They sent me a bunch of different colors to try out for the foundations, plus blushes and offered to customize a color or send me more if those didn't work out.

I really liked the envie of goodies that Eden sent. It included pasta samples as well as coupons. It also included some info on their company--propaganda--but it was an interesting read. It helped open my eyes wider to organics.

That is interesting, when I contacted them they responded that the company policy was not to send coupons, I didn't get anything.

Maybe it depends what person responds to the request, you got lucky!!!

It's been awhile since I contacted companies for coupons or samples. But if I remember correctly, my best coupons were from Hansen's Soda and my best samples came from Muir Glen. Muir Glen sent me 4 cans of tomato sauce to try out and it came in a really sturdy reusable wooden crate. Now that was COOL! :)

Wow, you guys are all luckier than me! I think the best I've gotten was from Amy's - free product coupons plus lots of $1 & .55 off.

I got the same thing from Muir Glen last year! That was awesome to get.

I was also looking for gluten-free samples/coupons and contacted the company that makes Chreese pasta. They sent a few boxes of pasta and gluten free crackers. I was incredibly surprised by the amount they sent.

That is interesting, 'cause Heather said Eden sent her lots of goodies. When I contacted them I got a bunch of stuff about their company and ONE measley coupon for $.50 off!!!!!

I got the same thing, a ton of brochures and two 50 cent coupons, I agree, maybe it depends on what they have on hand.

Also, I know when I contacted Mrs Meyers last month, they sent nothing stating that they had run out of coupons. I know remember in 2008 they sent me a bunch of $1 off coupons.
