Giant weekly specials 10/16-10/22

Hi, Giant shoppers! Here are some of the best organic and natural bargains from this week's circular.

It looks like Giant is continuing to put more of their organic produce on sale!

This week, advertised specials include Nature's Promise organic broccoli ($1.49/lb), organic cauliflower ($2.99 ea), and organic romaine, red or green leaf lettuce (2/$3).

Also, listed in their "10 for $10 sale" are 1 lb bags of Nature's Promise organic carrots and while not organic, avocados are also 10 for $10 or $1 each. Conventionally grown avocados are one of the 'clean fifteen', so also a good choice this week.

Other sales that caught my eye: Garden of Eatin' tortilla chips (the blue chips are especially good) are 5.49 for a 22 oz 'Fiesta Size' bag. Kashi Pockets are 2/$5, and paired with a coupon, could be an even better deal. Nature's Path Organic Pumpkin Flax Plus Granola is 2 for $4. The OGD database shows a BOGO Free printable coupon, which makes this a fabulous deal!

I saw the Nature's Promise green/red leaf lettuce for the first time last week- before they only carried the romaine in my area. I bought some and tried it, and thought it was just as good as the fresh stuff I get from the farmers market and local organic grocer.
