Green Thumb Patchouli Plant?

Does anybody have one? I found one at Target for $1.79. I Googled growing tips for them and supposedly the like heat/sun but must remain moist. I also read they root very easy from cuttings. I'd love to propagate these. I'm doing quite well w/my Aloe Vera and Jade plants in that respect. So, does anyone grow Patchouli or have experience with it? Any tips? This plant smells wonderful BTW.

That is so cool! How is it going with this plant? I would love to find out if they grow in Texas.

Mine is doing well! It has new growth on it. I keep it in almost full sun, but it's semi shaded during part of the day. I water mine daily, as it would dry out and die in this South Florida sun and heat if I didn't. A couple Texas growers of this plant commented about it in the link below. There is great advice on growing it and it does vary by zone, etc.. from what I've read.
