tofutti vanilla "ice cream"

At my kroger (houston area) the tofutti vanilla ice cream is on clearance for 1.79. I just wanted to share and say it tastes WAY better than rice dream does

Thanks! Also, they send out coupons through the mail, so if you're lucky enough to have one of those, even better deal. However, 1.79 is an awesome price even w/o coupons!

I got some chocolate tofutti cuties (what a cute name

) at my HEB the other day. They're on clearance but I can't recall how much. I haven't tried them yet, but I'll probably use DD as my guinea pig

I've tried the Tofutti Cuties and I think they're very tasty. You don't even realize you're eating tofu. However, they did make my throat itch a bit so I only bought the one box. What's funny is that somebody in my house polished off the rest of the box -- I don't think they realized that it wasn't real ice cream, lol.

Why don't we have a Kroger's here? They have all the good sales! (I think I've said that before).

I totally agree, Heather. There are Krogers in Houston but not the Austin area.

I always try to refrain from sharing the kroger deals to my mom who lives in Austin. I still can't believe they don't have one there!!

I haven't tried the cuties yet, but the wholesoy ice cream sammies aren't too bad.
