I hit the organic food motherload today!

And, it wasn't at a grocery store...

It was at a local Reny's: "Your Maine Department Store."

Reny's is a local "discount" store that sells clothes, food, toys, etc. Pretty much anything at a discounted price. I have not been going there as regularly since I started hard core couponing, but it is considered a "bargain hunter's" paradise. Knowing what I know now (that I can get new, name brand, long exp. date food at a lower price w/ the right sale), it is not much of a bargain...and is sometimes just as, if not more, expensive than at Walmart or Target.

Tom's Of Maine Dental Products, like mouthrinse...not sure of price. They usually carry this line, as well as some of the soaps the co. makes.

I am really impressed with the stocks. I thought what I had stocked up on before x-mas was a good deal at $1.50-$2.00/24 oz. I used to just add water instead of stock, but at this price I can afford to use good stock. (And these have a plastic cap/cover to seal if you don't need to use all of it at one time, whereas my previous boxes didn't).

ETA: I found a whole bunch more when I went earlier this week! Boy they are stocked! And I thought it was good the other day!!?!!

No...if so, I definately would have! It's kind of like a Christmas Tree Shop type of store. There were some other products too, but I didn't write anything down.

I have been to the Reny's In Camden Maine. it's across from a B&B we got to when we visit family up there. LOVE IT!!

If you're in the area of one of these stores, it is probably worth a look see. I found a lot more this week (added to OP), and the Newman's Cookies were on sale. I'm sure I missed a bunch, but at least it gives you a general idea of what they may have.

I went to Reny's again today. I found EcoLips with the carabeeners attached for $1.99, French Onion Soup for $.99, Mushroom Gravy for $.99.... They also had much of the same things in the OP. While some of the prices are the same as a regular groc., it is much closer for me to go here and not use Q's, then to spend $12+ in gas RT to go to WF.

If you are in Maine, stop by the local Reny's!
