We used the Meijer Brand Organic black beans for dinner the other night, and they were yummy! (Can you go wrong w/ beans?) At my store, the cost of them were only .08 cents more than Bush's black beans. I hope they're still on sale tomorrow when I shop. If so, at that price, I'm gonna snag enough cans for a few more dinners.

Also, the Skippy Natural ended up only being .67/jar w/ .50/1 coupon doubled! Comparatively, the regular Skippy is made with hydrogenated oils, and the natural is made with palm oil. Palm oil has faults too, but it does make an affordable alternative to hydrogenated oils.

I found the trial size Kiss My Face pear moisture soap (liquid) for $1.09. Using the $1/1 that came in the Meijer Healthy Living books, I got a few of them for .09 ea.

Also, I went ahead and bought the Organix shampoo to do the MIR (again, each bottle at my store had the MIR around the neck of the bottles). They also have a line of hair styling products on sale for $4.99 with the MIR attached. The bottle says "made with organic coconut oil", but in the ingredient list the coconut oil isn't listed as organic. So, *shrug*. But it does smell really really good - like a tropical beach! :D

I'm very excited about this week, because it's Meijer Organics Brand week! This is a great time to stock up on and try some organic products that we don't usually get coupons for.

I'm definitely going for the gallon milk, cheese, butter, applesauce and frozen fruit.

I haven't noticed it. They do "Meijer Brand Week" fairly often, so I hope they'll continue to throw the organic brand in there as well. I got some good deals that week on things I don't get coupons for.
