FYI NYC --> Jack's 99˘ Stores

Had a chance to stop in at the huge Jack's near Penn Station today, and found a bunch of organic/natural deals:

~ Nature's Path Flax Cereal (didn't buy any, but looked like a 12 oz. box)
~ Barbara's Bakery 100-calorie Oatmeal cookie snack packs (Organic) - pkg of 5
~ Barbara's Bakery Snickerdoodle Snackimals Animal Cookies (7.5 oz).
~ Barbara's Bakery Crunchy Organic Cinnamon Granola Bars (7.4 oz box)
~ Garden of Eatin' Sesame Blues Tortilla Chips (7 oz.? bag)

Didn't check the cereal or granola bars, but the best by date on the cookies I bought isn't until May.

I also saw Stonyfield Farms yogurt in one of the fridge cases for either 2 or 3/$1, but since I wasn't going to be home for hours I passed on them.

On the non-food side, they had just gotten in a ton of tote bags (either trade show leftovers, or overruns from the company that customizes them with logos). A big mix of styles, including some 100% organic cotton canvas bags.

All of this was on the first floor, so these were all 99˘ each.

Anyone else here shop at Jack's? Like any dollar/discount store, you never know what you'll find. I stop in when I have a chance and while half the time I walk out empty-handed, the other half of the time I find some really great deals.

~JJ
