HOT Organic strawberries .99/lb at ALDIS

Check your aldi's for organic strawberries. I caved and bought a couple pounds this summer of coventional strawberries for .99/lb and was going to pick one up at aldi's today and lo and behold They were nature ripe USDA organic strawberries. So i got 8 lbs and will freeze most of them for smoothies!

yeah i know that they have organic soymilk, but have never seen organic produce, but i do know that the brands of their berries often changes, maybe they get the overstock items of other grocery stores? I've seen several different brands of bluberries for sure, even on the same shopping trip.

The cheapest i've seen organic strawberries around here is 2.49/lb, so this is definitely a killer deal!

I can't imagine the Aldi's by me having anything organic especially produce. But....stranger things have happened. lol I might have to take a look and see especially since I LOVE strawberries. I buy a couple packs of Driscolls (at least) every single week. lol

I checked today, and my local Aldi's doesn't carry organic strawberries...sad. Great for you though! The cheapest I've found organic strawberries around me is $3.33/lb.
