It's gotta be the song...Don't you just LOVE a bargain?

I heart them too. Although, we recently got one in my area after years and years of false rumors that one was coming. Everytime a big store would close the rumors would start that we were getting a CTS. Never did, so I always went to Warwick, RI...it was great, made a day out of it with someone and loved the store.
Now we finally have one and I don't like it as much. The set up is weird and I always feel like I miss something because it's hard to navigate.

Do you have a favorite or least favorite one in your area?

I will agree with you that over the past year or so, it has lost some of its original appeal. I first started going with my mom, when they still lived in Maine, to one in Portland. That was probably, oh, at least 7 years ago? We used to come out of there with CARTS full of stuff! Now, it seems as though there are not as many great things to buy. There is one sort-of near us in Mass that I've thought is very hard to follow/navigate around. I don't know of any other ones close to me. I don't go to that one very often, but when I do...I know that I'll probably find at least one little treasure to come home with! I do have to say that they do often have pretty good reduced prices on popular food brands/items.

Oh, man! I was just near one, and I knew I wanted to get some of these for DS. Oh well, I'm not making a special trip.

I agree with the appeal not being as great now. I think that it is me who changed more than the CTS. What I thought was a great bargain then is not the same as now. I also feel that the food deals are better than the rest, although if your scour you should be able to find some great deals.

I used to go to the one in Orange, CT but moved and I go to the one in Danbury now, there's only 4 or 5 stores in all of CT. In spring, in the Danbury store, I found those big lightweight plant pots (all different colors and designs) for $5-$10! That's unheard of!!!
