Hannaford -->> Ball jars on clearance

Stopped at Hannaford (Wappingers, Rt. 9) last night and found that they're clearancing canning jars -- right now, they're 50% off, but if you wait another week or two you might be able to pick some up at 75% off.

Was able to get a 12-pack of jelly jars for $4.75, and 2 4-packs of the low half-pint jars for $2.74 each. I was able to use a $3/2 coupon, so that made it an even better deal. I didn't see any packages of pectin or extra lids on the clearance table, but other Hannaford locations may still have them.

I think there's apple butter in my future

Nice find! I got some at a yard sale earlier this summer, but the boxes were pretty beat up. DH thinks I'm crazy for getting them, but I have future plans that he doesn't know about! Plus if you give them for gifts, you never get them back.

Where did you get the $3/2 coupon?
