This is actually not a terrible deal-- has anyone bought one of these before? The crate looks pretty nice and might be something neat to use as counter-top storage in the kitchen...

I think this is the wooden crate ocean_brez was talking about in an earlier post. Last year they were giving this offer away for free.

I missed the offer last year - you're right, I think it was a freebie then. The $7 includes a $2 donation to the Chefs Collaborative, as well as free shipping. It's less than the regular price of Muir Glen tomatoes at my local supermarkets, so I thought it was a decent deal.

Yep that's the box of goodies that I got last year. Even with the cost, that's a pretty good deal and the reusable wooden crate is really cool too!
