Trader Joe's French Truffles (non-organic)

At $2.99 per package I wasn't expecting much...I was right!

The cocoa on the outside of these is gritty and they don't "melt in your mouth" as a truffle should. We didn't bother to finish the package- DH took them to work for people with less discerning taste buds!

Do yourself a favor and spend the extra 70 cents and get the organic variety. They melt in your mouth, have a fine coating of cocoa on the outside and aren't nearly as bitter as their non-organic counterpart.

truffles are one of the most easiest things to make...I dont have a TJ's but I would rather make my own than spend $3 something on them.

Anyone needs a recipie LMK and Ill post one for ya. Really they are easy to make and very yummy
