THUMBS UP Trader Joe's Chocolate Advent Calendar

I picked up one each for DH and I and was pleasantly surprised that the chocolate tasted like chocolate and not cardboard.

They were really cheap too. I want to say $1.21 but that might not be correct. They were a strange price at my store.

TJ's is definitely the place to buy these if they are something you use!

Since we don't have Trader Joe's here, can you order their products off their website?

No...

It says on their site:
Can I order your products online?
No. We’re just old-fashioned. We set up our stores with care, finding just the right crew and adding a flavor of paradise. After considering the options, we’re still just big ‘ole fans of the neighborhood grocery store where we can say hello when you’re looking around wondering - what’s for dinner?

Well Whole Foods and Central Market take the up the market completely here. I actually like Sun Harvest a lot though. They are small but have great prices and are a division of Wild Oats, so they will soon be part of Whole foods.

Only prob is that the closest one is about 30 mins away and having to take both kids/time naps/ and cruise down the small aisles is next to impossible.

Did you get any sipping chocolate? I saw it today and thought of you. ;)

I also picked up one of those Advent Calendars. I'm not big on chocolate, but my Mom seems to think the chocolate was pretty good. I may get a few more and give them out as pre-Christmas gifts. I wonder if they'll mark any leftover ones down after Christmas.

OMG I saw the sipping chocolate yesterday at Trader Joes and had to force myself not to buy it. Someone let us know how it is and maybe I'll pick some up for a treat after the Holidays.
