I shop at Shaw's and am new to this world of shopping. I am an AWESOME coupon shopper but I want to learn how to get my family away from more of the bad foods and more of the good foods. Does anyone have any brands they really like? I will work my but off to help you all in this forum as I learn. Let me know what I can do to help!

Hi Sav'nMoney! I'm so glad you shop Shaw's too. Right now, the best place to start a stockpile of organic goods is Cascadian Farm and Muir Glen. This
thread has the details: Shaw's Monthly Ad, April/May 2009. If you need to find some coupons for these items, you can join the trader group and trade for them, ot you can search the database and see if there are any printables. I know that there are for Muir Glen, and the insert Cas. Farm coupons expire today so not too helpful. But, even without coupons, you can get a few cans of MG to last you until another deal comes around. Also, check the markdown areas in your store. They've had a lot on clearance in the past, and I'm sure they will in the future.

This forum has a lot of reviews in it already for you to start with. But I think depending on how many organic foods you consume, and how many packaged vs. fresh items, your tastes will change. I know I reviewed the WH Tortillas Chips last summer and thought they were dry. Now I can't stand the taste of conventional tortilla chips.

As for help, right now I think it is more posting your finds and jumping in on the weekly threads.

Hi Sav'nMoney! I'd recommend checking out the Muir Glen deal on the April/May 2009 thread OHeather posted. I did the deal twice so far earlier this month. Not only is it just a great deal on the tomatoes (I don't know about you, but I used diced tomatoes all the time!), but you also get the $3 cat...making them FREE! I was very happy about that promotion..
