Here are my picks for the week: A pretty slim week, so forgive me!

Wild Harvest Organic Salad (11 oz) is $4.99. This is not as good of a deal as the Olivia's Organics Salad Mix (16 oz) that you can get a t BJ's for $4.99, but if Shaw's is closer you might as well grab some! I've been eating so many salads lately, and an organic salad mix is a must for me each week. If you've been buying the Fresh Express bags, which are only ~4-5 oz. each, then this is a better deal health-wise and pocketbook-wise.

Organic Hass Avocados are $1.99. Avocados are not on the DD list, so I personally wouldn't buy these at this price. I'd be going to my local Super-mart store and grab them for a 1/4 of the price. You have to make this type of decision when you're pinching pennies, and I feel this is an okay place to cut corners in the organic world.

After using the $1/1 IP coupon, Wild Harvest Organic Bagels are only $1.19! Grains are geting to be a major GMO/GE crop, and it's important to buy organic.

Wild Harvest Organic Milk (64 oz.) is $2.49 after the same $1/1 IP coupon as above. That's pretty close to conventional milk per 1/2 gallon. I won't be buying this, because I don't buy many dairy products, but I think it is a good price after coupon.

Now for all the Kashi deals! These are not (all) organic deals, but Kashi does tout a "natural" stand on their products. I feel that a lot of the Kashi products are better than let's say Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice. There is no regulation on what "natural" means, so use caution, read labels, and educate yourself on whether or not you should purchase these products for your family.

• Kashi Cereal (14.1 - 15 oz. Go Lean or 10.4 - 17.5 oz. Organic, Selected Varieties, Provides fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals to help keep you satisfied throughout the morning.) is 2/$6. Kashi Cereal (12 - 13 oz. Honey Sunshine, Vive or U) 2/$7. There are several coupons out to make boxes of these cereals less OOP. the database and search for "Kashi," or go to Where Did You Get That Coupon? and do the same search! You'll be amazed at what you can find.
• Kashi Entrées or Pockets are 3/$10--go to your local Wal-mart for the same product but less OOP. There shelf price even before a sale is less than this "sale."
• BOLO for Kashi Pizza marked at 50% off clearance. With the $3/1 tearpad coupon, you could get a yummy pizza for around $1! Or this week's "sale" of is 2/$11 okay if you love this brand. It is a little cheaper than takeout.
