    Do you buy organic mustard?

Is it worth the extra cost? Or is there something in traditional mustard that would warrant buying the organic variety?

I buy organic ketchup because the traditional is loaded with HFCS, and I'm going to start buying organic BBQ sauce (now that we've depleted our stockpile of Cattleman's) for the same reason. But mustard is just some vinegar, mustard seed, and a few other seasonings. I can usually get it free or nearly free after coupon...

What are your thoughts? Should I keep on buying the French's?

I buy and use organic mustard.
To be honest, I never compared regular mustard's ingredients.
I have bought the organic mustard in bulk, so I've been using it for so long now I don't have any regular in the house to even look at.
When I bought it I know that I had gotten it on sale something like 2 for $2 or around there, so I stocked up. The brand I have is Full Circle, which is just my stores "generic" organic brand.
I would say if you're fine with sticking with French's, keep using it. Maybe they'll come around. I mean Heinz makes organic ketchup, who's to say they won't have mustard hitting shelves?

I just bought some the other day w/out even looking @ the ingredients, but it was in the markdown bin for a good price. I bought the Annie's Naturals Organic Horseradish Mustard. The list of ingredients from the manufacturer's website are
    Horseradish Mustard - Organic

A bite of horseradish perfectly joined with garlic creates mustard with character. This mustard has a strong, yet not overpowering flavor, and great stone ground mustard texture. If you like horseradish, you’ll love this mustard!
    (9 oz. bottle)
Ingredients: *Mustard (*Apple Cider Vinegar, *Mustard Seeds, Salt, *Cloves), *Prepared Horseradish (*Cider Vinegar, *Horseradish, Salt), *Garlic Powder, Natural Horseradish Flavor.
    *Organic ingredients
I'm kicking myself for not buying more now, but I will go back after I see if I have a coupon for it.

I love horseradish mustard. I think I even have a few Annie's coupons from the Green Festival. I just might have to check it out. Thanks!

ETA- We also have the Full Circle brand at the local Weis market. I'll probably check next time I'm there to see if they have just plain old yellow mustard and how the price compares.

    Thanks Heathers!

    Yes, you're welcome!

I was at the grocery store last night and I picked up a bottle of French's mustard and looked at the ingredients. The "spices" and "natural flavors" is what turns me off. I don't like the phantom ingredients.
