Default Technical problems with the site? Please report them here.

From time to time, we may take the site down for maintenance. However, the site may also go down on it's own. You may also have other issues to report. You can post them here in the thread, or you can contact us directly through our CONTACT US link. We will try to figure out the issue and post an answer as soon as we can.

A quick tip for many problems including login issues and problems tracking threads is to do the following:

* Delete your temporary internet files
* Delete your cookies
* Close your browser
* Open your browser back up and login back into the site
* Be sure to hit the "remember me" button when you login

Following those steps tends to take care of most people's issues when the site has general quirks. For other issues that aren't resolved after you try that, do get ahold of us and we'll try to work it through.

Thanks!

You can't. You must stay up to the minute on every post.

Can you go into your UserCp, edit options, messaging & notification, unsubscribe to threads.

Let me know if that doesn't work.

Out of curiosity, does anyone here ever experience page blips that take you off of this site to a Google search list with a random column of search suggestions? I have had this happen off and on since I signed up here at OGD and I find it VERY unnerving.

I'm not a techie, but I believe this has to do with the ads not loading correctly on our end. It has happened to me only 1-2 on here, but it kept happening to me on another site for an entire day and I cleaned out my cookies, ran ad-aware & cleanup, and didn't have the problem again. I *believe* it goes to a google search b/c that is a default setup within your computer system (if you're running a Dell, google toolbar, IE, etc.). It shouldn't be harmful, but trying running adaware and cleaning up your cookies/history and such and see if that helps.

I regularly clear cookies, and when stuff like this happens, I run an extra scan regardless. I have IE thru Windows Vista and last I knew, Adaware was not compatible with Windows Vista yet. I will have to check them out again because I do have Adaware on my secondary dinosaur/computer that runs Windows Xp. Thanks for the info because it is always nice to know that someone else has experienced the same problem and it's not just me.

I don't know if this is a big deal or just really annoying, but I keep getting an error message on the bottom of my screen/toolbar thingy that says "Done, but with errors on this page" and it has a yellow triangle with ! in the middle. Ok, so I'm so not techie, not sure how else to explain it. :)

I'm still getting this. Also, I'm getting this popup that says something like, "A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive."

The site IS running sloooooooooow for me.

Anyone else having this issue?

I too am getting this problem. I thought it was just because my home computer is old and sucks, but it is also happening on my work computer...for a week or so now.

I'm having problems leaving visitor messages again/still. I get "the message you entered is too short" but if I click the back button and resubmit the same message it works.
