I know! I've embraced the oranges and I've been trying to eat at least 1 every day. They're soooo good right now!

Oooh, that's right! You're the one who thinks the white stuff tastes like wet paper towels! Now I think of you and LWW every time I eat an orange.

I've actually found a way that I don't get too much of the white part- with the peel still on I cut the orange into 8 segments with a knife, then cut a little sliver off the center of each wedge where that hard membrane is and where they connect in the center. I found if I eat them that way I still get the pulpy stuff and the membrane but it's not covering each wedge. That way I get the flavor of the orange in my mouth first and not the wet paper towel stuff.
