Aluminum water bottles found @ Target

I found some aluminum* water bottles at Target for $9.99. They were on a display that said "Back to College" or something like that. I saw the plain stainless and also pink, with screw top lids and a hanging thing. (What's that called - carraboner or something? It's 3:30 am! Too late for google.)

I have no idea if these are tested for toxins or leaching or whatever. I'm just telling ya I saw them, if you want to check them out.

*Update: These bottles are aluminum, not stainless.

I don't think stainless steel leaches, does it? Just aluminum?

I don't know. Now I'm wondering if the bottles were aluminum? But I think it said stainless. Now I'm not sure.

Wanted to update and say that I finally looked for these bottles again, and they are aluminum, not stainless. The label doesn't say if they are coated inside with anything non-toxic, so buyer beware as aluminum can leach and rust if not coated.

I think we're going to see a lot of Sigg knock-offs since Sigg's stock has been depleted. Can't wait until they're back!
