I found a pocket edition of Organic Gardening For Dummies in Targets dollar spot yesterday. 55 pages of gardening tips for $1 and it fits in my purse. Woohoo!!!

I was just there today, and I saw $1 Green Living for Dummies books, but not the gardening one. Also, gardening tools, seeds, planters and other stuff on the $1-Spot, too.

I got the Green Living for Dummies book and a reusable shopping bag for an Earth Day present for a friend. I once "gently" corrected her when I discovered she'd thrown away a glass jar and cardboard box. Think I'll put some 7th gen products in the bag, too, since she's a clean freak.

Would have loved to find the Organic gardening book, though.

That's a cool idea for an Earth day present. I think they were reorganizing the dollar spot when I was there the other day because it was pretty bare and there was an employee with a cart going thru stuff. Hmmm... might be worth going back to see what what's left and what's new.
