I'm Your Trader Joes MOD

It is about time I officially introduce myself I am Terry and have been actively couponing at HCW since January 08. I have saved so much money and made so many new friends. I am hoping to figure out how to save money and eat healthier by going organic. I admit I have only dabbled a bit with organic. I see the importance but I have lacked the motivation. It is hard to pass up on the non-organic deals, as I am sure you have found yourself. BUT and this is a big BUT, my family has many health issues that truly can be caused or contributed to by what we are eating, SO I am making it my mission to make changes in our eating habits.

So far, I have been doing pretty good. I have been reading all the information here about what is most important to eat organic and making those switches. I am shopping more and more at Trader Joes (and Whole Foods) and the organic aisles at the mainstream stores. I am quite fortunate to have all these stores within a 5 mile radius.

I am open to any advice and I hope as I learn that I can share some with you.

What I like most about Trader Joes is the unique variety of foods. I will be starting a thread about my favorites soon and how to save money there.I would love it if you would share what you have found there also.

Another big "official" welcome for you here! I love Trader Joes as well. They've got such great prices on everything they sell, sometimes I feel like I'm shopping at a healthy Walmart.
