Trader Joe's Smoked Salmon Round $11.99 in OH.

Quantity: 16 ounces
Found: Refrigerated Section by the deli meat.

Our local grocery stores sell smoked salmon in 7 ounce packages for $7.99. This price is exceptional and we normally buy the 16 ounce package once per week.

The normal bundle with this item is Trader Joe's Lite Cream Cheese, Trader Joe's Capers, Red Onion and Trader Joe's Everything Bagel (though when dieting it is a either a wasa cracker or low fat/high fiber english muffin).

A very delicious breakfast for two for five days.

Note: There are sections of the Smoked Salmon that have fibers of ligaments and fat. We normally cut them out, as they are not to our liking, but are comprised of less than 1% of the 16 ounces.

I haven't tried smoked salmon on a bagel yet, but I have tried it wrapped around asparagus. Sounds good though. Thanks for sharing!

Try this:

Spread Cream Cheese on one side of smoked salmon. wrap the smoked salmon around a peeled and pitted avocado. Freeze for about 1 hour. Cut into pinwheels.

We also add one or more of the following: Capers, Squeeze of lemon, red onions, olive oil and vinegar, fresh dill, tarragon, diced tomatoes (do not freeze - add later)

Yummy.
