THUMBS UP Trader Joe's ~ What's For Dinner ~ Frozen Foods

What I love about Trader Joe's is the variety of easy to make frozen products. It is so easy to find a side dish to compliment meat cooked on the grill.

Check back often as I will post here about new Frozen Foods I try.

This week we tried:

Trader Giotto's 'Spearean Risotto

Creamy risotto with a generous amount of savory and crisp cut asparagus spears

It was delicious and only took 6 minutes to cook on top of the stove. The asparagus tasted fresh, not frozen.

I highly recommend trying Trader Joe's

Mini Chicken Tacos

These are quite delicious. You could eat them for a snack, lunch or dinner. I love how crispy the shell is after cooking in a thin layer of olive oil on the stove. I haven't tried them cooked any other way but the cooking directions to mention microwave or oven.

Best part for me is these are gluten-free also

Trader Joe's Peruvian style Chimichurri Rice with vegetables
Rice seasoned with cilantro, tomatoes, peas, shallots, panca peppers, creme fraiche, garlic, lime, and ginger.

If you like this type of flavoring then this easy to cook side dish is for you. It cooked up great. It was a bit too spicy for me though.
