Rules for Signature Links and Private Mail Referral Requests

The rules for links in your signature are as follows:

Allowed Links in Signature No Restrictions:

• Links to other pages here at Organic Grocery Deals are allowed to be put in your signature. Links such as your wishlist, havelist, current Organic Grocery Deals Auction or Trade, etc.

Allowed Links in Signature with permission: (please send your link to jujubee via PM asking for permission to put it in your signature)

• Links to other sites besides Organic Grocery Deals, if they are are non-profit sites such as your personal blog, your favorite charity, a small coupon trading site (as long as it is trading only and you do not accept PPHF or money for your coupons), and is not a site in direct competition with Organic Grocery Deals.
• Links to your profit sites, referal links, eBay auctions once you have paid the yearly fee to advertise on the board you may have a maximum of 3 off site links for forum/s you have paid for. Please see the Entrepreneur forum for details on how to subscribe to one or more of these forums.

Links Not Allowed in Signature:

• Referal links, EBay auctions, or other sites that net you monetary profit. In order to have these links in your signature you must have paid the entrepreneur forum subscription.

The entrepreneur forum helps support Organic Grocery Deals and gives paying members a way to advertise thier own websites, auctions, and clipping sites, while reducing the spam. We have a place for posts about sites that make our members money, therefore we do not need to see posts in other parts of the forum promoting their sites.

All off site links that have met these guidelines will have the OGC-Approved Link smiley put next to them.
All links found in signatures that do not meet these rules will be subject to infraction points.


Private Mail Referral Requests

Sending unsolicited PMs through the system is a violation of the TOS of the board. If you would like to get referrals for rewards programs and such that you belong to, you must go through the Entrepreneur section of the board and subscribe to the service. You may then post unlimited referral announcements for the next 12 months from your subscription date.

Further, if you are receiving unsolicited referral request, PMs to buy things, join other sites, etc. etc., please let me know directly by forwarding the PM to hotcouponmama so I can discuss it with the member who sent it to you.

Multiple instances of this could result in revocation of membership, so please refrain from this behavior as we do appreciate the contributions members make to the board and would hate to have to see a member be asked to leave because of something that was preventable.
