CHAT WM getting a lot more organics on their shelves

Or at least at my local one. BIL took us on our biweekly shopping trip and there was TONS of new organic products on the shelf that I've never seen before. They usually don't cater to that clientele, but Earth Fare is down the road and I think they're starting to get into it more.

I saw quite a few organic oatmeals, some amy's (I believe, I was in a hurry and didn't look too close) refried beans, and Libby's organic veggies which were priced at around 88cents I'm thinking. It was a comparative price to the conventional at least because I bought the libbys black bean.

That's awesome LWW! I really think it varies from store to store. My local Super Wal-Mart has a really good selection of organics, but when I go down to Salem, OR there are hardly any organic items on the shelf. I saw a few Kashi items and that was about it. Even the local Safeway right across the street has a limited amount of Safeway O Organics... that whole city just sucks if you're looking for organic food.

yeah that's my problem too, My SWM doesn't have much of anything organic. I have to drive 40 minutes to find more of a selection of organic

I have been trying to find the Muir Glen tomatoes. Everyone has been saying they are finding them at Walmart. I don't normally shop there for groceries.. but I looked by the canned veggies. Wondering if maybe they have an organic/healthfood section like Kroger.

Anyone else finding them?

I just have a regular Walmart and they don't carry the Muir Glen tomatoes...but the organic/natural foods section has it's own section in the store. At our store it is on the aisle that runs perpindicular to the food section. I always laugh when I see it because the aisle is mostly potato chips, cheese curls, doritos, etc and then this tiny section of natural/organic products.

My WalMart has organic food mixed in with the conventional, so be sure to look for both a separate section AND intermingled items!

Our S. Walmart has a small selection of organic stuff mixed in with the other stuff, there is not a dedicated section for it that I have found. But there are green plastic shelf tags that stick out from the shelf that help you spot the organic stuff.

I have been watching and either I hadn't noticed before... or organics are starting to become more popular. I catch them sticking out more often.
