Organic Clothing and Bedding!

Today I found remaining Earth Day t-shirts at Walmart for $3 each! They are 100% organic cotton. They had both boys and girls. In the store I went to, they had 3 different designs for girls and several colors, but they only had one design for boys. They had all different sizes too from XS-XL, so hopefully you can find the right size for child.

I also found some cute 100% organic cotton bed sets, with comforter, sheets, and pillowcase(s). I noticed both twin and full sets. Regular price on these were $55 and $65 respectively, and clearance price was $35.

It's hard to get a sheet set for this price, let alone one with a comforter too.

One other thing that I found today was a paper making kit. DS was excited about it, and now he wants to make boatloads of paper with old newspapers. Too bad he's not getting it just yet! Do you think he'll remember at Christmas time?! That is normally $15, but it was clearanced for $7.

Lastly, Walmart also had cloth placemats with cloth napkins for $2-$2.50 for each set of two. They were not made out of organic material, but I feel that cloth is better than plastic/vinyl and disposable paper napkins.

Great finds!

DS will have a lot of fun with the paper-making kit! We made paper a few times in college and I remember it being a stinky mess, but the results were gorgeous.

Great finds! I may need to check on the sheet sets. I can always use another set for the little kids beds so I can have one in the wash and one on the beds.

I've seen that paper making set, and I keep wondering if it's worth it. For $7, I would totally try it.

Well, I tried making my own with an old frame and some spare screening. It didn't work. For some reason, I couldn't get it thin enough. This kit has a press type thing that squeezes out extra water and flattens the paper more than just a screen would. I think for $7 it was worth it. We may have to open that this summer when we need a fun (aka messy) inside activity on a rainy day.
